Founded on unity, love and acceptance, Marcella's Kitchen exists to unite a community of believers to be Christ's hand extended by loving and providing meals for those in need.
Our History
Our Mission
Marcella’s Kitchen began from the heart of Marcella Perkins. In May, 2011 we opened our doors to serve our community free meals Monday - Friday 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. In those days, we thought serving 80 meals a day was a great accomplishment. We love feeding our friends in Marshall County.
We operate solely on donations and volunteers. We have always strived to put the Lord first in all we do and we have seen His hand upon this ministry from day one.
In 2019, we renovated and moved into our new facility. God showed out again and we have been amazed at all He has done through this Kitchen. We have seen His provision time after time.
We have seen our numbers continue to grow and we are currently serving over 6,000 meals a month. Totally a miracle! A few years ago, we started Marcella’s on the Move delivery to the homebound in the county. We serve approximately 225 meals a day through our home delivery.
